Inside Sales Executive (French)
Primary Job Responsibilities:
The SMB Inside Sales Executive (French) will be responsible for converting qualified sales leads into revenue generating sales by analysing the needs and requirements of potential new customers. The SMB Account Executive is seen as a product expert, reference point for best practice integration, reference point for medium sized Merchants. This is a key sales position in PayPal’s expanding European sales team; the SMB Account Executive will manage the whole sales cycle and sales closure to grow new business for PayPal.
Fluency in French & English is required
CORE DUTIES:
Achieve sales targets
Follow up on qualified leads (provided by lead generators) turning them into sales opportunities and signing up those Merchants interested in using PayPal as a partner.
Independently managing pipeline
Cold calling and identifying own leads
Responsible for providing revenue forecasting reports on activity
Research market trends, opportunities and competition to support sales pitch delivery
Liaise with the Merchant Account Management team regarding customers that have taken up the PayPal product
To be involved in training and mentoring of other team members
Continue training and education to keep pace with product modifications, industry changes and sales knowledge
Participate in special projects (as needed) and perform other duties as assigned to contribute to overall sales and team results

Software/Hardware knowledge is beneficial, but not essential
Must be able to work independently

Performance is evaluated against the ability to make judgment calls, the ability to make sound decisions, a desire to make decisions, displaying a heightened level of accountability, demonstrating a sense of responsibility, confidentiality and professionalism.

Self-motivated, target driven independent worker
Ability to function in multiple telephone and email queues covering several product lines
Technical Knowledge:
Ability to learn and adapt to new software technologies
Strong working knowledge of external systems, PC based internet and software applications (The Internet, Microsoft Office - Outlook, Word, Excel).
Knowledge of internal systems such as Kana, Admin Tools, E-Services is a plus
