(Offre) Sales & Marketing Vice President - APAC (Based in Hong Kong) - AIGLE

Their efforts focus on the use of innovative design, materials and production techniques in the development of durable, functional, fashionable clothing, shoes and boots.

In Asia for over 20 years, Aigle sells products with “an outdoor inspiration” for a “lifestyle” use on North Asia market. With more than 300 sale points via exclusive distributors (Japan, Taiwan) and JVs (Korea, Hong Kong, China) the Asia region represents already 45% of the company sales. With approximately 20% increase annually, Asia is a fast growing region.

Today, Aigle is actively looking for a high calibre candidate for the newly created strategic role of Sales & Marketing Vice President APAC who will directly report to the Group CEO (based at French HQ) and also be the member of the HQ Executive Committee to represent the Asia region.

You are ultimately responsible for: 

1) Acting as the strategic and accountable regional conductor to drive and develop the APAC sales (increase the number of POS and turnover by 50% within 3 years) by: 
• Identifying new growth opportunities (wholesale and retail) in current key markets by working very closely with each head of JV (Korea, Hong Kong, China) and decision makers of exclusive distributors (Japan, Taiwan) to enable them to meet their respective P&L through effective guidance, best practices sharing, bringing adequate support and resources.

• Developing, organizing and driving all commercial channels for existing and new markets: stand alone boutiques (direct and franchised / high street and malls), specialised multi brand retailers, e-commerce (e-boutiques, e-retailers), wholesale, Travel Retail, etc.

• Optimizing the product mix & assortment for the Asia, International and local collections across all products categories (outerwear, boots and footwear) and channels to match respective market expectations 

• Working closely as a tandem with APAC CFO on the budgeting planning and controlling processes for each market in the region and have a high degree of accountability to meet the regional P&L targets

2) Liaising and coordinating closely with the Global Marketing & Communication Director (based at French HQ), you are acting as the gate keeper in the APAC region for building a consistent and solid brand equity (awareness, market share, positioning) 

3) Managing directly 3 teams (based in Hong Kong) - Asia Store Development, Merchandising & Marketing and Business Development - and closely coordinating with the Head of Collection Asia (based in Hong)

• You have a minimum of 15 years of working experience in commercial and marketing functions including 5 years at senior managerial level and proven records in driving and influencing decision makers of JVs & exclusive distributors via a driven functional approach
• You have worked in Asia for sizable international organizations with matrix organization and constantly evolving structure, ideally specialized preferably in outdoor fashion, and / or fashion textile (lifestyle...) and/or footwear category. Experience in other fashion accessories will be considered
• You have a proven experience in developing and managing multi sales channels (wholesale and retail, off & online), together with a brand building mindset and managing sizable turn over and sales and marketing teams 
• You have great natural communication, coordination and leadership skills combining assertive influence with a sense of diplomacy when working with internal and external strategic professionals
• You have a solid natural sales drive, solid business acumen and genuine passion for developing fashion & accessories brands
• You must be fluent in French and English and willing to travel around 30-40% of your time across Asia and to France
